Microsoft has stated there is no rate increases on education and consumer products at this time.

Microsoft’s subscription price increases are the result of the additional value Microsoft has incorporated into its M365 product line. Since it was introduced in 2011, Microsoft has added over 20 apps to the suite—Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Stream, Planner, Visio, OneDrive, Yammer, Whiteboard, plus more—and released over 1,400 new features and capabilities.

Today, the M365 platform is Microsoft’s premiere hub of cloud services working together to provide modern productivity and teamwork solutions, intelligent security and compliance features, and automation capabilities that improve operational efficiency.
