At Systems Engineering, employees are our number one resource.  Our success depends on our dedicated and skilled staff who share our values and contribute to our vision.  SE Spotlight provides a brief but revealing look at one of our valuable members.

Name:  Andy DixonAndy_Dixon.jpg
Department: Sales
Title: SE Account Manager
How long have you been at SE?  Nine years

SE:  As an Account Manager, what do you do for SE?
Andy:  As an SE Account Manager, we are responsible for the relationships with our clients.  We must have an understanding of not only the full range of the services and technologies we offer, but also how they enhance our clients’ businesses.  We do this by taking the time to understand our clients' unique business drivers, goals and one-of-a-kind challenges and then provide those services and solutions that give them a competitive advantage.

SE:  How do you service our clients on a daily basis?
Andy:  I am the advocate for the client within Systems Engineering.  I work with various departments to ensure we are giving clients the service they expect from us.  I keep them up-to-date about new technologies, ones that could provide value to them.  I look for various ways to increase employee producitivity and make their business more efficient through technology.  For many, I put together their IT budgets which includes plans for necessary upgrades, technologies and refreshes.

SE:  At the end of the day, what do you hope to accomplish for our clients?
Andy:  I want our clients to be pleased with the services we provide them and to know that our team of experts are constantly looking for ways to help them advance their businesses with technology.

SE:  What do you do when you are not advising SE clients?
Andy:  I am involved in a remote control airplane flying club with my son.   I volunteer with Boys to Men.  In winter, I love to hit the slopes.
