On Friday, October 27, Systems Engineering's (SE) President, Matt McGrath, and Director of Engineering, John Sterling, presented University of Southern Maine (USM) student, Brennan Harvey,  with the Systems Engineering Scholarship. Brennan is currently a Junior at USM majoring in Computer Science.

The Systems Engineering Scholarship was established at the University of Southern Maine (USM) in 2011 to provide support to students with a declared major in Information Sciences or a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering). Each year, the scholarship is awarded to a deserving student who is a Junior level or higher and has maintained a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

"It's important for us, as a Technology company, to support the endeavors of up and coming engineers who will inevitably affect the future of an ever-changing technology landscape," explained Matt McGrath. "Oftentimes, these students will become interns at SE and then be hired on staff full-time once the internship is complete."

"I can't thank Systems Engineering enough for providing me with a scholarship.  It's incredibly generous and it means a lot to me," explained Brennan Harvey.
