Named for the First Time to CRN's Top 500 Managed Services Providers List
Systems Engineering (SE) announced today that, for the first time, it has been named to CRN®’s 2018 Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list. Each year, CRN®, the nation’s leading news source for the IT channel, recognizes the top 500 managed service providers in North America for their cutting-edge approaches to delivering managed services. The MSP 500 list will be featured in the February 2018 issue of CRN and online.
SE Help Desk is here to support the daily needs of our clients and it is no small task. Our team services 121 businesses with approximately 3,850 (+/-) end-users. Each day they work hard to deliver engineering excellence and superior customer service. To achieve this, they focus on providing a high level of service that delivers value in every interaction and results in a positive outcome for the client. To accomplish this outcome, we have outlined some of the SE Help Desk metrics that demonstrate their commitment to improving the end-user experience.

Systems Engineering (SE) announced today that it has achieved Microsoft Gold Competency for Cloud Solutions, specifically for small and midmarket-sized businesses. The certification demonstrates the company’s expertise in deploying innovative, cloud-based solutions using the Microsoft Azure platform and Microsoft Office 365. Systems Engineering has been a Microsoft Partner since 2003. Attaining Gold Competency is the highest certification level a Microsoft Partner can receive in a specific technology area.
On Friday, October 27, Systems Engineering's (SE) President, Matt McGrath, and Director of Engineering, John Sterling, presented University of Southern Maine (USM) student, Brennan Harvey, with the Systems Engineering Scholarship. Brennan is currently a Junior at USM majoring in Computer Science.
Systems Engineering (SE), a leading IT strategy integrator and managed IT services provider, has been named one of the 2017 Best Places to Work in Maine. The awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Maine. This year, 80 companies made the list. Systems Engineering will be recognized at the Best Places to Work in Maine awards ceremony on October 10, 2017. At that event, the top 10 companies from each category, based on size — small (15-49 U.S. employees), medium (50-249 U.S. employees) and large (250+ U.S. employees) — will be announced.
Systems Engineering (SE) is pleased to announce the continuation of its internship program in 2017. This summer, we elected to have eight college students join our program, up from five participants last year. Students come to us from a number of schools including, Southern Maine Community College, University of Maine (Orono), Roanoke College, Kennesaw State University, and Champlain College.
