PORTLAND, Maine and MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — April 4, 2017 — Systems Engineering (SE), a Maine-based managed IT services provider, announced today that it is expanding into Manchester, New Hampshire, to meet increasing demand for its services in New Hampshire and other surrounding regions. It is the company’s first move outside of Maine, though Systems Engineering has been providing services to New Hampshire businesses over the past 10 years. The new office is located at 1750 Elm Street in the Brady Sullivan Tower and employs six staff members. Until now, all of Systems Engineering’s work has been managed from the company’s Portland, Maine headquarters. Todd Molloy, Director of Sales and Marketing, will manage the new office.

Our recent SE Lunch & Learn series titled Windows 10: Enabling Your Move to the Cloud featured Microsoft's Steve Deming and Systems Engineering's (SE's) Adrian Wells. This event gave both speakers a chance to mention the new Windows 10 upgrade benefits for Windows Cloud Subscriptions which had previously been announced by Microsoft on January 19 of this year.
Microsoft's Windows 10 made its debut in July 2015, six years after Windows 7. During this time, Microsoft’s new security, convenience, and performance developments culminated into Windows 10. Microsoft’s development continues, with the recent (August 2016) Anniversary Update to Windows 10 which delivers even more features. This is Microsoft’s operating system-as-a-service vision. Windows 10 delivers continual enhancements, cloud enablement, and new security. It is the future platform and begs the question, should my organization upgrade?
